Excelsior Caffé Arcakit Kinshichō
A moment to unwind in the city.
Located on the ground floor of Arcakit in front of Kinshicho Station, EXCELSIOR CAFFÉ serves thick-cut breakfast toast, croque-monsieur, and afternoon sweets like mille crêpe for an easy everyday stop.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Located on the first floor of the Arcakit shopping complex right outside Kinshicho Station, EXCELSIOR CAFFÉ Arcakit Kinshicho operates from early morning until late at night, making it an effortless place to drop by before a morning commute or in between shopping errands. The spacious interior looks out toward the surrounding foot traffic through expansive glass windows and offers comfortable seating where solo visitors can relax without hesitation.
A dedicated morning menu provides a dependable start to the day. The dine-in-only thick-cut toast plate features brioche-style loaf bread enriched with butter, eggs, and sugar, delivering an easy crisp bite and gentle sweetness alongside fresh greens. Another distinct option is the two-cheese waffle plate, where waffles baked under Gouda and Cheddar are paired with honey for an appealing sweet-and-savory contrast. Guests can also choose lighter morning fare to suit the day's mood, from a warm croque-monsieur layered with jambon ham, melted cheese, and béchamel sauce to a crisp sandwich filled with jambon ham and fresh lettuce.
During afternoon café hours, classic cakes take center stage in the display. The mille crêpe gently stacks thin crêpe sheets with whipped cream, crafted tender enough that a fork glides smoothly through all the way to the edge. Other dessert options include an apple pie generously filled with stewed fruit compote, a rich New York cheesecake, and a gâteau au chocolat highlighting the aroma of couverture chocolate, each well suited to enjoying leisurely over coffee or tea.
Free Wi-Fi and power outlets at select seats make it natural to see customers catching up on quick tasks or reading quietly. Ordering at the register is straightforward, with support for major credit cards, transit IC cards, and barcode mobile payments. Whether picking up an order to go or settling in with a warm beverage, the café offers versatile convenience whenever you need a pause.
